Summary
WazaDeck is a study app for Judo techniques. We collect the minimum data needed to save your progress across devices. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers, and we never sell user data.
What we collect
- Account identity: your email address and display name, received from Apple Sign-In or Google OAuth when you sign in.
- Practice data: results of each quiz session (correct/total, mode, deck, optional category and family), per-technique stats (accuracy, last-seen date, spaced-repetition schedule), and your current and longest streaks.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone access, health data, or any device identifiers beyond what's needed to maintain your session.
Where it's stored
All data is stored in our Supabase project (US region). Transport is HTTPS. Authentication is delegated to Apple and Google; we never receive or store your password.
How to delete your data
In the iOS app: Profile tab → Delete account. This immediately removes your auth identity and all associated practice data. The action is irreversible.
On the web or by email: send a deletion request to dev@samuraijj.com from the address tied to your account. Requests are processed within seven days.
Children
WazaDeck is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If a guardian believes a minor has signed up, email us and we will remove the account.
